NEWS BRIEF The Democratic National Committee’s email hack has claimed more victims.

Along with Dacey, the DNC’s communications director, Luis Miranda, and its chief financial officer, Brad Marshall, have also left the organization.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s resignation resulted in supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders shouting Schultz down from a stage where she attempted to address the Florida delegation to the DNC in Philadelphia.
The resignations of Dacey, Marshall, and Miranda were announced on Tuesday by the DNC, according to media reports.
Three Democratic strategists familiar with the situation tell AP that Amy Dacey has resigned in the wake of the leaked email scandal that engulfed the Democratic Party last week.
The Democrats say other personnel moves at the party are also expected Tuesday.
The tumult in the party’s hierarchy came after Wikileaks revealed almost 20,000 emails from party staffers, some of which depicted officials favoring now-Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton over Vermont Sen.
The hack on the DNC emails stirred discord at the start of the party’s convention in Philadelphia where Hillary Clinton formally accepted her party’s presidential nomination for the November 8 election.
Before joining the DNC, Dacey was executive director of EMILY’s List, which works to elect female Democrats. “I’m so grateful for their commitment to this cause, and I wish them continued success in the next chapter of their career”, said Donna Brazile, the party’s interim chairwoman, in a statement announcing the staffing changes.

US intelligence officials strongly suspect the Russian government hacked the DNC, though the American government hasn’t publicly charged the Kremlin with doing so.
