DNC CONVENTION | Wasserman Schultz heckled at delegates meeting
Fending off criticism over leaked Democratic National Committee (DNC) emails and on the heels of a public shaming at a Florida delegate breakfast during the party’s convention, embattled DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz could now face a formal legal complaint over some of the information in the hacked emails.

The Democrats took center stage this week as the Democratic National Convention gets underway in Philadelphia.
On Sunday Clinton said in a statement that she was appointing Wasserman-Schultz as “honorary chair of my campaign’s 50-state program”.
Privately, some Democratic officials think Wasserman Schultz is at risk of losing her August 30 primary to Canova.
The first lady also is pushing back on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s slogan to “make America great again”.
Schultz, who, in her day job, is a congresswoman from Florida, has been less than popular in the party for quite some time. That message – and the endorsement of Sanders – has helped the political upstart raise a surprising $2.2 million through June 30, mostly through small donations, after refusing to take money from political action committees.
According to party sources, Wasserman Schultz’s role at the party’s convention this week will be severely limited.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the outgoing chief of the Democratic National Committee, has joined Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. She will remain at the convention and is set to resign at a DNC meeting Friday.
Many of her fellow Americans expressed a similar sentiment.
“I went over yesterday to see the Sanders campaign [and] I apologized”, Brazile said.
Protected by a row of police officers, she told the crowd during a raucous scene that “we have to make sure that we move together in a unified way”. Security also escorted her out after she spoke, as U.S. News’ Dave Catanese reported.
But Sanders had his own troubles when he tried to rally his own supporters toward party unity. “We have to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine”.
“Let’s be respectful”, Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Allison Tant said, pounding a gavel to try to restore order.
“What we’re about to do is choose a president of the United States”, Feingold told reporters Monday.

In New York’s delegation, annoyed Sanders supporters attending the convention in Philadelphia struggled to even secure a room to meet in so they could discuss all that’s happened.
