DNC Offers ‘Sincere Apology’ to Sanders, His Supporters Following Internal Email Leak
Delegates may still be stinging from a leak of emails exposing Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s bias toward Hillary Clinton during the campaign, but many expressed determination to have a smooth convention.

Clinton is promising a stark contrast to last week’s Republican gathering, an often chaotic affair that featured a heavy dose of pessimism about the economy and national security.
In Charlotte in 2012, Wasserman Schultz stood at a breakfast for the state’s delegation to the convention and enthused about her role as “a Florida girl… representing our state and being the political voice of our president and our party”.
“We ask that she does not be a part of this convention”, Sanders supporter from Gainesville said.
The Ohio congresswoman who’s the chair of the Democratic National Convention is getting an earful from a rowdy group of delegates in the convention’s opening moments. According to her declaration, she will attend to and chair the convention.
Wasserman Schultz’s statement of resignation doesn’t mention the DNC emails, which were provided to Wikileaks by a hacker. From 2009 to 2011, Kaine served as the DNC chairman.
Wikileaks posted emails suggesting the DNC was favoring Clinton over Sanders during the primary season.
“It’s gas meets flame”, the Democrat said. Now, Wasserman Schultz is on her way out, after the publication of emails that suggest Democratic officials favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders during the nominating contests.
The tumult showed that Republicans aren’t the only ones reluctant to unify around their candidate, and offered more vivid examples of just how raucous this election season has been.
Nevertheless, the party’s decision to remove Wasserman Schultz is a bit heartening, though she should be ousted altogether if they are to pretend to be at all interested in the wants and demands of their constituents.
“We have to make sure that we move together in a unified way”.
In interviews broadcast Sunday, the Vermont senator said the emails proved what he knew was true: The DNC planned to support former Secretary of State Clinton from the start.
The statement wasn’t signed by the outgoing DNC head, Debbie Wasserman Schultz. However, Weston also said that the controversy “will blow over fairly quickly”. He said that “considering the calculated release”, experts have inferred that “it was the Russians who perpetrated this leak for the goal of helping Donald Trump and hurting Hillary Clinton”. “She was going to get booed before all this”.
The release of illegally hacked Democratic National Committee emails, coming on the eve of the convention in Philadelphia, was a fiasco that the forces of truth, justice and the American way – those, in other words, determined to prevent a Donald Trump presidency – surely could have done without.
Clinton is expected to receive a similar jolt from her own convention, but the extent of that bounce could depend on how successful she is at bringing Sanders supporters into the fold.
“Trump thinks he can win votes by fanning the flames of fear and hatred”, Warren said. And while speaker after speak stressed falling in line behind the presumptive candidate, Sanders supporters repeatedly broke into cheers of “Lock Her Up”, and “Roll Call Vote”.
Wasserman Schultz will not speak at the convention, CNN reported. “How is that party unity?”
Taylor said the involvement of Russians in hacking into the DNC emails could erupt into a full-fledged scandal and worldwide incident because the unidentified Russians might have actually corrupted the content of the email messages and thus attempted to influence a USA presidential campaign.
Campaigning in North Carolina, Trump seemed to revel in the Democrats’ commotion, telling supporters that Clinton made a mistake by not choosing a more liberal running mate to appease Sanders’ base.
