Do you believe Ted Cruz should be eligible to run for president?

“I would note that Donald’s record does not match what he says as a candidate”, Cruz told reporters in Fort Mill, South Carolina, on Saturday. “I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who have been let down by the liberal politicians in that state”.

I think it’s interesting that Trump … basically said at [a] family values forum he’s never asked for forgiveness, but yet he is Christian.

The New York Times reported Friday Cruz not only failed to report a loan from Goldman Sachs for his 2012 campaign, he also failed to report one from Citibank.

Shmuley Boteach, a New Jersey rabbi and former congressional candidate who has been introducing Cruz to New York Jews, told MSNBC he didn’t take the Texas senator’s “New York values” attack too seriously.

“New York is a great place, it’s got great people, it’s got loving people, wonderful people”, he said.

“I’m going to start spending money for two reasons”.

During the GOP debate earlier this week, Cruz was asked to explain past comments he made about Donald Trump embodying ‘New York values’. Millions of people watching on television must have been thinking, I don’t care about Ted Cruz’s mother, I want to know which candidate can address the bad problems our country faces.

“I am from NY”. “I’m campaigning on behalf of American values, and I don’t think to divide people against each other — that’s the problem we have with our current president”.

Following his appearances on television on Friday, Trump had a scheduled speech in Iowa and said he would have a free screening of the film 13 Hours, which is about the attack in Benghazi that killed three Americans.

“[Cruz] has insulted a lot of people”. “When the World Trade Center came down, I saw something that no place on Earth could have handled more beautifully, more humanely than NY”, he said to applause from the crowd in North Charleston, South Carolina.

Some pledged their allegiance to the various sports teams in NY, like the Yankees and Mets, along with popular food items – like pizza and bagels that New Yorkers love to tout. His campaign took in only about $487,000 from NY contributors through September 30, according to the most recent filings.

Catsimatidis told MSNBC of his own New York-based criticism of Cruz.

Cruz then proceeded, in detail, to attack Cuomo, the governor of New York, for his disapproval of fracking, the controversial energy extraction process, while also aiming his sights on de Blasio, New York City’s mayor, for his policies on taxes, charter schools and policing.
