Do you want a Groot/Rocket Raccoon spin-off movie? Vin Diesel does

On Saturday, James Gunn revealed the second trailer for the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at Comic Con in São Paulo, Brazil and it didn’t disappoint. So, as with all of the speculation about what’s to come in the Marvel universe, we’ll just have to wait and see. If you weren’t caught up on classic “Guardians of the Galaxy” comics or the current Marvel Comics run written by Brian Michael Bendis, there’s a good chance you didn’t know about Star-Lord and his intergalactic crew of misfits.

Bautista delivers a highly comedic performance at the end of the trailer when Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt, is humiliated in front of Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana.

Screen Junkies: Are we ever going to see Groot and Spider-Man in one movie?

Do you think Gunn will have to switch gears once he’s required to mix things up for the Infinity War movies?

No news has been released yet regarding the central character of the movie as well as the other superheroes who will be there.

That means people watched Baby Groot over and over … and over and over again. In recent years, she’s become estranged from the team, although that is likely to change as the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – and her starring role therein – comes closer.

But, seriously, who cares about that when you have so much Baby Groot? Instead, Diesel was referring to the Guardians’ inclusion in the Avengers: Infinity War movie, which was slated for release in 2018. In his case, K-2SO can say far more words besides “I am Groot” and a lot of them appear to be blunt, all too brutally honest and without any filter, especially when delivered by the voice of Alan Tudyk.

On Twitter, Gunn answered a fan inquiry about the process in making “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” and if having to maintain continuity in the MCU universe affects with his vision of the movie. Outside of the aforementioned “Thanos Vol. 1” tweet, there is no real concern considering that the Guardians of the Galaxy’s films are set far away from Earth.

Diesel also offered hope for a Rocket and Groot spin-off, saying if it was up to just one person, it would be happening.
