According to the search warrant revealed Tuesday, Schulenberg had seen Prince twice before his death, on April 7 and April 20, which was the day before he died.

The police also conducted another search of the pop star’s Minneapolis home and seized medical records from the hospital where Schulenberg worked, it shows.

The identity of a Twin Cities doctor who had been treating Prince several weeks before he died was revealed in a search warrant filed in Hennepin County District Court.

The official said investigators want to determine whether any doctor broke the law by overprescribing drugs or prescribing drugs without first giving Prince a requisite physical.

April 20 – Dr. Howard Kornfeld, a California addiction specialist, is asked by Prince representatives to help the star, according to Kornfeld attorney William Mauzy.

April 16 – Prince hosts a dance party at his Paisley Park complex and makes a brief appearance, showing off a new purple piano. They told Associated Press they were “being thorough” with their investigation.

In the days following Prince’s death, such reports prompted speculation that the musician had been using drugs. Bader said the reasons behind the doctor’s absence is personal and can not be disclosed.

During the two visits, Dr Schulenberg, 46, who practises family medicine, performed tests and prescribed medicine for an undisclosed ailment, the affidavit said. Carver County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Jason Kamerud would only tell the AP that authorities were “being through”.

Our sources caution there could be other doctors who prescribed meds for Prince outside the Minnesota area. but so far nothing’s come up.

He was eventually found in the elevator, and it was Andrew Kornfeld who called 911, according to Mauzy, who is representing the Kornfelds.

“The reason we suspended our campaign was that with the IN loss, I felt there was no path to victory”, Cruz said, according to a report IN The Hill. Kornfeld couldn’t immediately fly to Minnesota to meet with Prince, so he sent his son Andrew that night instead, he said.
