“Doctor Strange”, Baby Groot, Take Root at Comic Con
“King Arthur: Legend of the Sword”, starring Charlie Hunnam, was one of many films that released a new trailer at San Diego Comic-Con. We get to see (and hear) more of Mads Mikkelsen’s villainous Kaecilius this time around, we get a closer look at the relationship between unusual and the mysterious Ancient One, and the trailer ends with a very clever joke.

The movie’s cast remained tight-lipped about the plot and their characters, but the trailer shows “magizoologist” Newt Scamander (Redmayne) arrive in NY in 1926 with a case of magical creatures that escape, wreak havoc and face threats from the non-magical humans in the city.
The doctor will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch, and accompanied by a cast including Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, and Mads Mikkelsen. The convention, held over the weekend, was host to a ton of trailer premieres.
The Comic-Con audience is the only one to see the first footage of Spider-Man’s first solo MCU movie so far. Rooker sat on the stage in full costume and makeup.
Even bigger confirmations were saved for the two clips.
Way back on June 1, Variety technically gave away Marvel’s final Comic-Con surprise.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
DC had more footage it was willing to release online instantly, surprises that weren’t first broken weeks earlier and much more to prove to skeptics.

For Comic-Con attendees, things are different. I wouldn’t have thought I’d get quite as excited for a Doctor Strange movie as I do for Marvel’s other properties, but after seeing these trailers I can’t wait for November 4th to roll around so I can experience this film on the big screen.
