Director Ayer’s fingerprints have been all over the footage, and what people have seen couldn’t be more different than the trailers of Gal Gadot’s “Wonder Woman” and director Zack Snyder’s “Justice League”.
Directed by Scott Derrickson, it will star Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen, Benedict Wong and Tilda Swinton.
“Any of us can be the Ancient One, that’s what’s fantastic about what’s in the comics, who knows who will be the Ancient One”.
“Suicide Squad” – The latest trailer for the DC Comics flick shows off some new footage and teases the rockin’ soundtrack. “It’s a title and all the things the Ancient One knows and passes on, anyone can do”, Swinton said.
The Marvel Universe has unveiled some of its most exciting upcoming movies including old favourites and new characters, at Comic Con San Diego. But the director of one of its most controversial films to date, Doctor Strange, probably had the most important comment of the convention.
Quite a few names have been floating around in recent months as to the actress who would be cast in the iconic role of Captain Marvel, for Marvel’s stand-alone Cinematic Universe (MCU) film of the same name.
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, we have confirmation on Sylvester Stallone’s involvement but no word yet on exactly what role he’ll play. Over seven weeks later, Marvel was ready to confirm it, as Brie Larson took time away from promoting Kong: Skull Island to get in on a closing photo with her new Marvel cohorts.
The CW also revealed a first look at The Flash – the third season of the show is going to tackle Flashpoint, which was one of the big storylines from the comics.

Fans were ecstatic nevertheless when they were shown the film’s final trailer, which featured the bubblegum-popping Quinn using her martial arts skills to dispatch an adversary in an elevator.
