‘Doctor Who’ Season 9 Spoilers: Second Trailer Released; Plus Reece Shearsmith
Which is a good thing, especially after last season’s angst-filled journeys for both him and companion Clara Oswald. There is something brewing, but The Doctor seems to have gotten over his ‘what kind of man am I?’ woes, and has embraced his role as the savior of humanity.

The first season of “Doctor Who” with Capaldi in the title role wound up being the highest-rated season of the series on BBC America.
The rest of the trailer features a slew of expectedly odd looking Doctor foes – and, of course, lots of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman.
Clara is also seen coming face-to-face with the returning Missy, played by Michelle Gomez – the reincarnated alias of The Doctor’s old nemesis and fellow Time Lord; The Master.
Here’s the first trailer once more, in the event you missed it previously, or just want to check it out again in the wake of this new footage. She is not someone from the Doctor’s past.
Reece Shearsmith, Rebecca Front, Rufus Hound, Paul Kaye, Elaine Tan, Neet Mohan, Bethany Black, Paul Courtenay Hyu, Joivan Wade, and Sophie Stone will all make guest appearances on Doctor Who this season as well. For six straight weeks, some of the most essential Doctor Who episodes will be presented with new material, hosted by YouTube star Hannah Hart and produced by Nerdist.
