Document: Boy told Paterno of Sandusky abuse in 1976
Former Penn State assistant Mike McQueary alleged in a 2015 deposition that current UCLA DC Tom Bradley “wasn’t surprised” when McQueary told him of the incident in 2001 that says he witnessed.

The records also include an analysis by a lawyer working as an expert for the insurance company that said the settlements paid by Penn State seemed very high, possibly as a result of the university’s concern about publicity and a wish to resolve matters quickly.
The family denied in a statement to the Post that there had been a cover-up.
Sandusky was convicted of sexually assaulting 10 boys in the ’90s and 2000s; he is now serving a 30- to 60-year sentence.
Paterno died in 2012 and is still a beloved figure on campus with many defending his integrity.
Meanwhile, Sandusky is attempting to appeal his own conviction.
McQueary said Bradley told him what Schiano said, but it’s unclear where the information went after that. According to the victim, Paterno dismissed him, saying “I have a football season to worry about”.
” ‘I was shocked, disappointed, offended, I was insulted, ‘ John Doe 150 testified”.
“I got the impression he thought I was lying to him and just wasting his time”, Doe 102 said in the documents. You’re not going to do anything else?’ According to his account, Paterno allegedly “just walked away.” The existence of the testimony was made public in May, but the details weren’t released until Tuesday.
“The overwhelming evidence confirms that Joe Paterno never engaged in a cover-up of Jerry Sandusky’s crimes. They weren’t even involved in that”, Janice Lewis of Larksville said.
Schiano was a Nittany Lions’ graduate assistant in 1990 and its defensive backs coach from 1991 to 1995.
Sandusky often met his victims through a football program he ran, The Second Mile, for underprivileged youth.
“I felt sorry for the football players and the team”. Assistant coach Joe Sarra walked into the room and saw them, Doe 75 testified. The man testified that he informed Paterno in 1976 that Sandusky had assaulted him in the shower, but that Paterno ignored the account.
A man, known as John Doe 101, recounted his assault from 1988 where he said Sandusky rubbed his back as he laid on the couch in his underwear. The child who was molested said O’Dea didn’t say a word when he saw what was going on. He was later the head coach at Rutgers and for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Both men have asked the courts for protection of their identities.
Many in the Penn State football family would view that as an extreme act of betrayal and McQueary would be ostracized – simply for telling his story.
In McQueary’s testimony, he indicated that he had discussed witnessing Sandusky abusing a victim.
They also allege that head coach Joe Paterno knew about the abuse and that he dismissed a victim’s complaint about Sandusky.
McQueary: “He said he knew of some things”.

“I’m sorry”, Sandusky is said to have replied. We had the chat and he told me everything that happened.
