Dodge Viper 1:28 Edition ACR
Even Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson was so taken aback by its power that a Viper served as his wedding vehicle.

The Viper gained refinement over time, and its output climbed too.
Under the hood, the 1:28 Edition hides the familiar, naturally aspirated, 8.4-liter V-10 engine, The unit pumps out 645 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque through a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual gearbox.
To commemorate all of this and more Dodge has curated five different special editions: each one will have a very limited 2017 model year production run. To be built in only 28 units for the 2017 model year, this model pays tribute to the lap record of 1:28.65 minutes that Randy Pobst set in a Dodge Viper ACR at Laguna Seca Raceway in October 2015. The coupe also has a “1:28 Edition” sill decal and comes with the Extreme Aero Package, which adds a carbon-fiber splitter and canards among other goodies. 28 Viper 1:28 Edition ACRs will escape the factory.
The GTS-R Commemorative Edition ACR evokes the 1998 Viper GTS-R GT2 Championship Edition, sharing the same white color scheme with Blue Pearl GTS stripes. About 100 units of this edition will be assembled.
Modeled after the 2010 Viper VooDoo, the new VooDoo II Edition ACR features a black exterior with a graphite metallic driver’s stripe and red tracer outline. It also includes an Extreme Aero package and carbon ceramic brakes. In total, Dodge will be building 33 units of this new special edition configuration. Painted in Snakeskin green with a special contrasting snakeskin-patterned SRT stripe, it’s meant to highlight the fact that the Viper is literally named after a venomous snake. The Snakeskin is equipped with the Advanced Aerodynamics Package, a black Viper GT-spec interior, special badging, the customer’s name above the driver’s side door, and a custom auto cover.
Finally, two USA dealers which sold the most Vipers will be able to offer the Viper Dodge Dealer Edition ACR.
It’s white with a Competition Blue center stripe, Adrenaline Red driver stripe, carbon ceramic brakes, extreme aero pack, red accent stitching for the interior and a custom auto cover that matches the exterior paint scheme while showcasing the customer’s name above the driver’s side door.

Since its introduction in 1992, about 30 000 units of the Dodge Viper were produced.
