Google is expected to launch a lot of new hardware in the next few months. Reports indicate the HTC-built smartphones will be called the Pixel and Pixel XL, mirroring an earlier report that Google is retiring the Nexus brand. Comment below and let us know what are your thoughts about the Pixel and Pixel XL.

It has also been reported that the Google Nexus 7 2016 shall have significant shooting refinement and enhancements with the reported inclusion of the Sony IMX179 camera sensor.

The user will be able to customize nearly every feature in their mobile device, including display size, notification controls and how much data your device uses. Now a new credible rumor, is reinforcing what we’ve heard previously, that the two flagships will be sporting identical cameras. Its price will be $599, with $100 more than the Nexus 6P. This isn’t all too surprising considering that Google’s latest smartphones are always unveiled around the same time the latest version of Android is released. These are the Marlin and Sailfish phones we’ve been hearing about all summer, which are to be manufactured by HTC. Looking at the leaked specification from the same source for Marlin, it appears that it will be somewhat similar to the smaller variant except minor changes.

Geekbench also listed that the handset will come with a quad-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.59 GHz. However, we don’t have an exact model number for this, but it is expected that it’s going to be the revised Snapdragon 820, 823 or the rumored Snapdragon 821.

It shall have a 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card slot.

Sailfish benchmark report also showed the phone will feature an 11MP rear camera capable of 4K video recording – the front camera will be 7MP.
