Does this bobblehead look like Jordan Spieth?

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. (AP) – If his match earlier this week was any indication, Jordan Spieth could be in trouble at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. “My (swing) speeds are where they need to be, everything feels good”. But the revelation he expected after winning a major and reaching the world number one ranking never came, or at least not in the way he expected it would when he woke up the next morning and felt unchanged. He also enjoys the opportunities it brings in terms of meeting people he might not have been able to meet previously, like Dirk Nowitzki. “And it’s important for me to be there and see them grow up”. “I was still grinding to make birdie on the 17th (a par 5). And I thought that was pretty awesome”.

“When that label is said, I think if you’re in the top five or top 10, it’s the same impact”, said the American, who finished second at the Singapore Open in his last start and is feeling refreshed after a week-long break. This is his first start on the PGA Tour since the season opener in Maui at the beginning of January. So I look forward to a really exciting tournament with some potentially very good scoring. “I try to hit it as hard as I can and see where it goes after that”, said Cain.

“We are aware of the ruling made in our favour regarding the lawsuit filed a year ago by caddies and are pleased by the court’s decision”, its statement said. It’s often a necessity this time of year given the limited sunlight.

The world No 1 has finished no worse than joint seventh in his last seven starts worldwide while winning twice, and relishes competing in the pro-am celebrity event on the picturesque Monterey Peninsula. He was close in Palm Springs as a rookie until he found a bunker off the tee with an iron and then the water, costing him a shot at the tournament. One of the more poignant memories of that trip was seeing the Champions Locker Room (he shares a locker with four-time champion Arnold Palmer) and the Masters trophy. And then since then, I’ve really regenerated and I feel a hundred percent.

He and hid dad had dinner at the club a couple of nights and enjoyed the display that recapped what happened in the 2015 Masters, which he found motivating for 2016.

“This week, it’s so unique and it’s so much fun”, Spieth said.

“It wasn’t like a “wow, I’m better than you” moment by any means”, he recalled. “No disrespect to any other event, but I absolutely love that golf course, it is my favorite golf course in the world”, he said. “I think everyone does it on the golf course.

Golf Channel will have the coverage prior to Nantz in all his glory on the weekend.

He said the one shot he remembers is when Tiger Woods holed out at the 16 hole in 2005. That’s the greatest clutch shot chip. As many as he’s had, that was one that I’ve watched over and over and over again on YouTube on just how incredible it was. “It was just backed up against the collar of the rough”, he continued. The regulars you can always count on are here – Bill Murray, Ray Romano, Huey Lewis, Kenny G – those types.

Formal pairings for this year’s event have not yet been announced.

What you probably didn’t know, however, is that the guy can sometimes call his shot – and that he’s used that prescience to win himself some money from his golf buddies.

Jordan Spieth had to work his way through about 100 people who blocked his path to the first tee at Pebble Beach. Ladies and gentleman, Mr. Jake Owen will take it from here.

For the second time in three years Brandt Snedeker will be defending his title at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am
