Giants: New York has interviewed former Buffalo Bills coach and current Jacksonville assistant Doug Marrone for its head coaching job.

The Miami Dolphins hired new head coach Adam Gase this week.

But then-Bears coach Marc Trestman was sacked, and he was replaced by John Fox, who brought offensive coordinator Adam Gase with him from Denver.

Gase was the Bears’ offensive coordinator last season and was credited with helping Cutler achieve a career-best 92.3 passer rating and cut his interceptions to 11, the best of his career over a full season.

Making life tougher for Tannehill has been the three different offensive coordinators he’s had in his first four seasons and now Gase’s system will be the fourth in five years.

During his two seasons as offensive coordinator, seven players from the Broncos offense were named to the Pro Bowl: RB C.J. Anderson (2014), T Ryan Clady (2014), Manning (2013-14), WR Emmanuel Sanders (2014), WR Demaryius Thomas (2013-14), TE Julius Thomas (2013-14) and G Louis Vasquez (2013). Hell, at least if ya get a Tom Coughlin you know what you’re getting…Maybe Gase will pan out, chances are he’ll wash out and Dolphin fans everywhere will be wondering where the last two seasons went, AGAIN!!!

To start, Adam Gase will have control over the 53 man roster. A Bears assistant has not left for an National Football League head-coaching job since Buddy Ryan left to coach the Eagles in 1986.

“He’ll be an excellent coach without a doubt”.

“I couldn’t be happier for Adam and his family”, Cutler told the Bears’ website. Talk surfaced yesterday that they were flying him in; this morning, it became clear that they were going to sign him, though some said it may not happen until Monday or Tuesday. “He’s ready for this for sure”.

McCoy is 23-27 in three seasons, including a playoff win and loss in his rookie season of 2013….

A native of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Gase worked on the staff of Michigan State coach Nick Saban while a student there. The Dolphins haven’t been to the playoffs since 2008, when they had their most recent winning season.
