Dolphins VP: Suh gets an incomplete after four games

His head coach, Joe Philbin, was recently canned.

Suh said the same goes for his teammates. But again, I think we have to give him a grade of incomplete. “I’m very hard on myself, and I don’t think I’ve played up to my level of ability”.

The Dolphins defense has been the main culprit in the Dolphins’ disappointing 1-3 start.

The Dolphins signed defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to a six-year, $114 million deal this offseason, but the four-time Pro Bowler has failed to live up to the lofty expectations he set during his time with the Lions.

Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh doesn’t expect his role to change under a new coach and defensive coordinator.

Was it? Suh chuckled before responding.

“People don’t give out sacks”, Suh said. “I’ll leave it at that”.

“I love Dan’s opinion, I love his motto and towing the line and just being a physical and downhill team – setting the tempo and setting the tone of the game”, Suh said.

“You talk about misleading,”Dan Campbell said Wednesday, when asked about Suh’s pedestrian statistical output through four games”.

Suh has long had a reputation as one of the NFL’s dirtiest players – but also one of the best.

“We got a lot of guys that take this serious”, Vernon said. Miami’s defensive line has just one sack – five fewer than any other team. The Dolphins are ranked dead last in the National Football League, allowing an astounding 160.5 rushing yards per game.

Campbell said Suh has improved over the season’s first four games, and praised his work ethic and eagerness to win.

While Suh doesn’t believe he needs added motivation, he does think players embrace Campbell’s attitude. Campbell isn’t expected to make wholesale changes but plans to make important tweaks to the defense that will make the group more aggressive.

Suh has had trouble getting across the line of scrimmage or to the ball. Miami’s starting defensive end is averaging just one tackle per game and hasn’t done much to help stop the run.

Through four games, Suh has 10 combined tackles and no sacks to his name. “It has been proven”.
