Domhnall Gleeson says Star Wars’ General Hux is “merciless”

“Star Wars” universe newcomer Finn might have been brought up as a Stormtrooper, but according to “Force Awakens” star John Boyega, his character has a lot more in common with the heroes of the original trilogy than the villains. It’s a story that’s never been seen before, but it also mirrors the stories of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.

“I hadn’t played anybody like that before. Star Wars is fantastic, J.J. Abrams is wonderful, but the thing to do was play something different”.

The About Time star has admitted you only have to look at him to know he’s a bad guy in the highly-anticipated flick. “I hadn’t played anybody like that before”, Gleeson explained. “Yeah, it’s fun to do different things”.

“When I read the script I cried, and I’m not really a big crier…” As such, toys are created well before the films are released in theaters – even before trailers are released to the internet, in this case. He also received a Tony Award nomination for his role on “The Lieutenant of Inishmore”.

Gleeson admitted that he was a major fan of the franchise saying that finally being on the set was still an unbelievable experience, according to another article by Games Radar.

Remember that rumour back in February that Harrison Ford’s Han Solo was going to die in Star Wars: The Force Awakens?

On the other hand an all new first look series of posters have been released on the official Star Wars website. This timeline was suggested to occur in the upcoming sequel.
