Don’t allow Donald Trump to set foot in Oval Office: Hillary Clinton

Chris Christie put on a rollicking show trial of Hillary Clinton at the Republican Convention Tuesday night – leading the audience in Cleveland to shout “guilty!” over and over again in response to his allegations about the former secretary of state. This would allow officials to keep their jobs in a new, possibly Republican, administration, Christie said.

“Lock her up!” chants rang out after delegates leaped from their seats to scream “Guilty” each time Christie recited situations in a bid to make the case against electing Clinton in November.

“Well, that did it, huh”, he said with a wink.

“We don’t disqualify Hillary Clinton to be the president of the United States”, Christie said.

“He was amusing but serious, substantive but humanizing as well”. One New Hampshire delegate called Clinton a “piece of garbage” and called for her execution for the 2012 Benghazi, Libya, attacks that left four Americans dead.

“I have a rule”. At least one congressman says he could see that happening.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Clinton is unreliable. “But at least it was presented in a clear and articulate way for the hearer to listen to it, evaluate it and make a decision”.

“Her focus-group-tested persona with no genuineness to be found is a sham meant to obscure all the facts and leave you able to vote for her”, Christie added in an aside. “Donald and I never talked about it before that, because it’s awkward”.

Christie told CBS2’s Marcia Kramer he was “disappointed” but that he has moved on.

“More than anything else, what motivates him is wanting to be a victor”, Christie said of Trump.

On Tuesday afternoon, Friedman issued a full-fledged apology that referred to his Monday night behavior as indefensible.

After a warm opening in which he declared himself once again to be “Donald Trump’s friend for the last 14 years”, Christie proceeded to assail Clinton’s “dismal record” as secretary of state. “You, tonight, sitting as a jury of her peers in this hall and in your living rooms around our nation”, he said.

“Let’s look around the world at the violence and danger at every region that has been infected by her flawed judgement”, he said in what appeared to be a comical audition to be attorney general in a prospective Trump White House.
