DON’T skin your Nintendo Switch — Important PSA
Nintendo announced today that the Switch will be the “first console” to have Stardew Valley multiplayer when it releases for the system this summer. With an SD card inserted, users can choose where to download games themselves, and screenshots (another function added in today’s update) can be transferred freely in the Data Management menu. That changed with a couple of new videos showing off the Switch’s eShop and base software. There are issues for multi-Switch households, reselling Switches, or issues if your Switch gets stolen, according to Polygon. The toy retail giant suggests getting in line early.

This week, I lived the television commercial the company is running to promote Switch, priced at $399 in Canada. His priceless reaction served as as inspiration for other journalists to see what a piece of Nintendo tasted like.
The Nintendo Switch is bursting with potential, but right now it still feels like it’s in beta form. My experience with Nintendo’s new console has been a blast so far, but because of review product availability, I can only really attest that the Switch is a great Zelda machine. It’s mobile console first with removable small controllers. ToysRUs, for example, confirmed it will have more Switch devices on its shelves on Sunday.
The Nintendo Switch games launch title list isn’t exactly huge, with Nintendo banking on the likes of Zelda Breath of the Wild to keep fans happy until other big titles arrive later in 2017. The Nintendo Switch Pro controller will be sold separately, because Nintendo is a bastard. But Switch’s tiny game cartridges – even smaller than the 3DS’ – could be easily consumed by children.

The system’s kickstand feels flimsy and I’m always anxious it will collapse under the weight of the unit, and the internal storage demands additional buy-in for expensive microSD cards. Both versions will be the same price.
