Donald Trump accepts Purple Heart from veteran, says he ‘always wanted’ one

The Purple Heart is awarded exclusively to service members injured in combat. “I have such confidence in you, ‘” Trump told the crowd at a campaign rally in Ashburn, Virginia, Tuesday.

“To me, a Purple Heart is sacred for what is represents and should not be given to anyone who didn’t deserve one”, McCaffrey said. “A man came up to me and he handed me his Purple Heart”, Trump told the audience.

“Something very nice just happened to me”, Trump said at a rally in Ashburn, Virginia on Tuesday.

A handful of Jacksonville progressives have planned a protest against Donald Trump for his Wednesday appearance at the Veterans Memorial Arena downtown.

“I think it’s a bunch of bull”, said Army Veteran Daniel O’Donnell of Providence.

Kahn isn’t the only person troubled by Trump accepting the vet’s Purple Heart.

After the rally, Trump told Gray TV’s Kellie Meyer that he regretted not serving. “He keeps on proving it”.

The Republican presidential nominee is at Briar Woods High School located at 22525 Belmont Ridge Rd. John McCain: “He’s not a war hero”.

Sue Loudon, of Brockport, slammed Republican presidential nominee in a conference call Wednesday for his recent attack on a Gold Star family, his anti-Muslim rhetoric and acceptance of a Purple Heart.
