Donald Trump accuses Ted Cruz of fraud in Iowa caucus

“Ted Cruz didn’t win Iowa, he illegally stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong any [sic] why he got more votes than anticipated”.

Twitter was abuzz Wednesday morning over Trump’s accusations.

The Trump campaign could have benefited from spending more time and money in Iowa but “people told me I couldn’t win”, he said.

Trump jumped on the news that Cruz staffers told voters Carson was quitting the race when Carson announced instead of New Hampshire he would return to Florida for clean clothes.

Carson called Cruz out for it, Cruz apologized and everyone went on their merry way. “That doesn’t sound like it adds up to proving wrongdoing”, Foley said.

Officials from the Iowa Republican Party did not respond immediately to questions about their process for handling complaints like Trump’s.
