Donald Trump Airs Medical History On TV
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks at a lunch hosted by the Economic Club of NY on Thursday.

In the end, Trump’s big health reveal amounted to the interview with Oz and the release of a one-page letter from his long-time doctor, the same one who wrote previous year that Trump “will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”. The spectacle reached a fever pitch Wednesday afternoon as news outlets scrambled to interview members of the “Dr. Oz” audience about what went down during Trump’s appearance.
Donald Trump releases medical records for the first time to Dr. Oz on The Dr. Oz Show.
Nevertheless, the medical report says in general that the mogul’s health is “excellent” and his medical history shows that he has only been hospitalized once, when he was 11, for an operation to remove his appendix.
But Dr. Lisa Bardack concluded she is “fit to serve” as president.
Dr. Ranit Mishori, a professor of family medicine at Georgetown University, says the new letter was much better than Bornstein’s previous one, but it was still lacking basic information. Still, it doesn’t offer a complete picture of the candidate’s health.
Based on previews of the interview, Mr. Trump’s health report indicates he is generally in good health, but that he is overweight. His total cholesterol was 169; his LDL or “bad” cholesterol was 94, and his HDL or “good” cholesterol was 63.
Hours earlier, his campaign released the letter from Bronstein to media outlets. His latest electrocardiogram test and chest X-ray also appeared normal. Trump is taking a cholesterol drug known by the brand name Crestor and he takes a low-dose aspirin. Given his height of 6-foot-three, that puts his Body Mass Index firmly in the “overweight” category.
Mr Trump compared himself with his friend, the American footballer Tom Brady (39), the New England Patriots quarterback: “I feel the same age as him – it’s insane”.
NHS guidelines suggest Trump would be in the healthy BMI range of 18.5-25 if he lost 4st 3lbs.
At 70, Mr Trump would be the oldest candidate ever elected to the White House if he wins on Nov 8.
He has been pictured several times eating fast food on the campaign trail. His blood sugar level is 99 milligrams per deciliter.
Some of the examinations took place in 2013, including a “normal” colonoscopy and a calcium score.
“His liver function and thyroid function testes are all within normal range”. The letter also did not mention his current mental health.
“I think when you’re running for president, I think you have an obligation to be healthy”.
“She is recovering well with antibiotics and rest”, said her doctor, Lisa Bardack, in a letter released by her campaign.
“After the campaign, I hope both candidates have a regular exercise schedule because that’s good for all of us”, he said.

In a letter dated September 13, his doctor reveals previously undisclosed details about the presidential candidate’s health. “I’ve always been a little bit this way, you know, but I have always been this way”.
