Donald Trump: America needs a ‘law and order’ president

“America’s police and law enforcement personnel are what separates civilization from total chaos- and the destruction of our country as we know it, ” he said.

“It’s time for our hostility against our police and against all members of law enforcement to end”, Trump told supporters in Virginia Beach, Va.

He also made note of the need to ” ensure every American feels that their safety is protected” in light of the officer-involved-shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota. “For too many police today, that is their daily reality”. Trump also reportedly is considering others, including former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, retired Gen. Stanley McChrystal and Sen.

Trump campaign lawyer Don McGahn said the decision proved their argument that delegates are already committed to voting for Trump.

Trump concluded his speech by saying it was time to “Make American Great Again-And Safe Again-For All Americans”.
