Donald Trump’s new running mate, Mike Pence, has written critical things about negative campaigning, but he now says the current Republican campaign is about issues, not style.

The Hillary Clinton campaign was quick to respond to news that Donald Trump has chosen Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his running mate.

Trump chose Pence in part to ease some Republicans’ concerns about Trump’s temperament and lack of political experience.

The presumptive Republican nominee introduced the IN governor at a Manhattan hotel two days before the start of the Republican National Convention. “It’s frightful out there”, Trump said.
Christie has been an ardent Trump supporter since dropping out of the presidential race and was the first governor to endorse the billionaire.
Trump asserted that he would handle attacks against his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton and leave Pence out of them.
Trump has struggled to bridge the gap between himself and the establishment and conservative wings of the party.
Trump and Pence vowed to lead America, cut taxes, support small business and defeat the Islamic State terror group.
