The Trump and Pence team was asked about their views on the instability and violence around the world, the Iraq War, and preventing foreign Muslims from temporarily entering the country, something Governor Pence did not initially support.

Pressed by Stahl, Trump said, “It’s a long time ago”.

Stahl said, “Yeah, but you’ve used that vote of Hillary’s that was the same as Governor Pence as the example of her bad judgment”. And on that score, Trump says he has already gotten important party approval for his choice of Pence.
