Donald Trump at GOP debate: Muslim ban proposal is ‘about security’

Republican front-runner Donald Trump defended his provocative call for banning Muslims from the United States in Tuesday night’s presidential debate as the candidates pushed their own plans for fighting Islamic State militants.

The 61-year-old justified, as human beings, “We are all Muslim”. Although Rick Santorum said that he supported Trump’s idea for a ban on all Muslims, some of the other “undercard” candidates expressed some disapproval, Newsweek.com reports.

Kerry said it was clear from his exchanges with other diplomats in Paris that Trump’s anti-Muslim comments were damaging to U.S. foreign policy.

“We’re not talking about isolation, we’re talking about security”, he said.

Republicans are far more suspicious than other Americans of an inherent link between Islam and violence, the polls show, a fact that is likely to strongly influence the GOP presidential hopefuls as they debate.

“You may remember (you do, after all, have a ‘perfect memory!’), that we met back in November of 1998 in the green room of a talk show where we were both scheduled to appear one afternoon”.

Of course, if a ban could indeed kick Michael Moore out of the country, there are undoubtedly many Trump supporters who’d volunteer to drive him to the airport. “You’ll probably hear it tonight: They will say in that guns are a totally separate issue, nothing to do with terrorism”, Clinton stated.

But Trump’s Muslim friends aren’t the only people who oppose the temporary ban against Muslims. “Trump told Trapper that, “(…) without the ban, you’re not going to make the point”.

It is a sad commentary to know that in this 21st century, that Donald Trump can actually become the nominee for the Republican Party.

“I really like the almost-camaraderie between him and Cruz”, Eric said. “But the bottom line, if it’s Trump, so be it. That’s who I’ll support”. We are not a country of angry white guys. “You’re never going to be president of the United States by insulting your way to the presidency” said Bush. “They are not coming to this country and if I am president and if Obama has brought some [Muslims] to this country they are gone”. “And not the people who want you leading their country”, Moore wrote.

Moore said he will post the photos on his website and send them to Trump. You cannot make fun of the disabled and handicapped; you cannot demean women, immigrants, minorities, the frail, the weak and play on people’s fears; and thank God, you cannot bully your way to the White House.
