Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said on ABC’s “This Week” that Trump’s endorsements show he “has the ability and the understanding to realize that there are going to be disagreements and you’ve got to be able to reach out to the entire party”.
It’s a message furious senior members of the party carried to Trump privately and publicly in the days after Trump last week refused in a Washington Post interview to endorse the re-election bids of House Speaker Paul Ryan, Sen.
The dividing lines appear to extend as far as the GOP ticket: Vice presidential nominee Mike Pence told Fox News on Wednesday that he endorses Ryan, contradicting Trump’s refusal to endorse Ryan on Tuesday.
In an interview earlier this week, Mr Trump said he was “not quite there yet” when it came to endorsing Mr Ryan in his primary race.
“Working hand in hand, we will grow our majority in the House and in the Senate”, Trump said. Very important. We’ll work together.
“All my life I’ve been told, ‘You have the greatest temperament, ‘” he said. “I’m not quite there yet”.
“Paul Ryan and Wisconsin Republican leaders either share Donald Trump’s principles, or lack the political courage to stand up to his hateful and divisive rhetoric”, Laning said in a statement Friday night.
In the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll released on Friday, Mrs Clinton’s lead over Mr Trump narrowed to less than 3 percentage points, down from almost 8 points on Monday.
As of this writing, Ryan, Ayotte, and McCain have yet to respond to Trump’s endorsements.
Palin backed Nehlen in May in response to Ryan saying he wasn’t yet ready to support Trump.
“This is one in a long line of painful examples which make it clear that Trump can not be trusted to honor the women and men serving this nation in the armed services”, the petition, started by Operation Enduring Freedom veteran Perry O’Brien, reads.
Trump spent much of his speech capitalizing on his supporters’ distaste for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, calling her both a “monster” and a “weak person” in the same breath.
“We have to unite”, Trump said, speaking at a campaign rally in the USA state of Wisconsin.

Trump’s and Ryan’s endorsements of each other sound pretty similar.
In no uncertain terms, the club called Trump a “threat to the survival of the Republic”.

However, all three chided Trump for engaging in a flap with Khizr and Ghazala Khan, the parents of USA army Capt. Humayun Khan, who was awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart after his death in 2004.
