“And I think I would have a very, very good relationship with Russia”, Trump said at a “commander in chief” forum on the decommissioned USS Intrepid, now a floating museum, here yesterday.

Clinton argued that Trump would let President Putin do “whatever he wants to do”. The real estate billionaire also said although he does not approve of the system in that country, he is clearly a leader- much more than what the US President is.

Speaking to reporters the morning after a NY security forum featuring separate appearances by the two candidates, Clinton also slammed the businessman for praising Russian President Vladimir Putin and saying U.S. generals had been “reduced to rubble” by the policies of U.S. President Barack Obama.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has repurposed a tweet President Barack Obama posted last election cycle to chide Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for attacking his supporters as “deplorables”.

Clinton made her comments at an LGBT fundraiser in NY late Friday, adding that Trump supporters are “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic – you name it”. She also flushed out several national security priorities if she is elected, including trying to take out the leader of the Islamic State and vowing to defeat the extremist group without putting us troops on the ground in Iraq or Syria.

Clinton was grilled over her handling of classified information while using a private email server during her tenure at the State Department.

“I think I would urge caution”, McCaul said at an event hosted by The Atlantic.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), the former GOP presidential candidate who is now supporting Trump, similarly affirmed that the GOP nominee was wrong.

During a televised forum on Wednesday on national security, Mr Trump complimented Mr Putin for having “great control over his country”.

“Look, I’m not asking for any special treatment, I know the road that I’m on, Ive been on it for 25 years”, she said.

Clinton blasted Trump for appearing on the network and praising Putin.

“I just watched her on the tarmac”, he said.

Lauer asked if Trump still stood by that comment.

In her first national television appearance in support of her mother since the Democratic National Convention, Chelsea Clinton defended the work of the Clinton Foundation and confirmed that she would continue to guide the organization if Hillary Clinton is elected president.
