Donald Trump busts out ‘Hotline Bling’ dance moves on ‘SNL’
During Trump’s controversial hosting appearance on Saturday Night Live, the Republican presidential hopeful participated in a pre-taped sketch about Drake’s Hotline Bling video. “I know you make fun of my dance moves / Turn me into memes and gifs / But I’m proud of my dance moves / Because lots of people dance like this”, he raps.

While most of the sketches were criticized by viewers for falling flat, there was one that piqued the audience’s interest ever so slightly – Trump dancing to Canadian rapper Drake’s Hotline Bling video. The result: Spectacular, of course.
It’s a step beyond square to have Donald Trump do the Hotline Bling dance, but it’s also something that needed to happen to possibly kill the raze altogether.
And speaking of tweeting, Trump, known for his scathing Twitter posts about his opponents, played a key role in another skit in which mean tweets attributed to him were shown while cast members performed. And, Larry David returned as Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders – and broke character to call Trump a racist.
Examples: “This sketch is not amusing”.
