Donald Trump called a ‘racist’ as he guest-hosts Saturday Night Live

After watching 90 minutes of “Saturday Night Live” hosted by Donald Trump, it’s official: I’m sick of Trump. And just because he was still hanging around, Larry David interrupted Trump’s high by shouting “You’re a racist!” from off stage.

A horde of people protested NBC for its decision to have Donald Trump host Saturday Night Live.

The show opened with a Democratic candidate forum (*snore*) – but it was really just another excuse to get Larry David back to play Bernie Sanders.

Hispanic-American groups and others say SNL’s producers gave Trump a platform to try to take the sting out of what they say are his hateful views. “What are you doing, Larry?” Trump will host the show on November 7.

During a sketch depicting Trump’s cabinet two years into his term, Trump told his team “I don’t have to get specific” about policy.

Trump’s comments caused NBC to sever ties with his Miss Universe pageant as he said he would never return to his “Apprentice” role.

“SNL” ended with former porn stars endorsing Trump – or “Tramp”, as they called him. “They’re not bad, and we’re going to have a lot of fun tonight”.

But, for all of the outlandish comments Trump’s known to make, he’s not afraid to laugh at himself…in the most Trump-ish ways possible.

As his bandmates indulged in a series of solos, Trump had a complaint: He wasn’t getting enough time to show off his own skills – on an instrument called “laser harp”.

“People think I am controversial, but the truth is, I am nice guy”, he told the crowd.

SNL airs on Saturdays’ at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.

It was not Mr Trump’s first turn as guest host.

His guest hosting appearance – where he danced, played president and live tweeted snarky remarks at the SNL cast – reached 6.6 percent of households measured, according to NBC – a almost 50 percent increase over the season premiere which featured a guest appearance by Democrat Hillary Clinton.

For candidate Trump, whose many interview and debate appearances have drawn large viewerships, a spike in this week’s “SNL” ratings seemed assured.

Trump announced he wouldn’t be appearing in the night’s third sketch – but he would live-tweet it.

The show draws much of it comedy from politics and has become a popular stop for candidates looking to show a less business-like side of their personalities. Is it SNL’s job to serve as Ethics Police?

“It’s 2016, and Trump needs to hear that you can’t win the White House without the brown vote”.

Typically outspoken, Trump has welcomed the controversy, predicting it would only boost his audience. Full results, including viewership figures, will be released Thursday, NBC said.
