Donald Trump Calls Barack Obama the “Founder of ISIS”
Republican nominee Donald Trump on Friday said that his description of Barack Obama as a founder of the Islamic State group was “sarcasm”.

He said Obama was the founder and Clinton the co-founder of the group, though the founder of the Islamic State was Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah leader has said US presidential hopeful Donald Trump is right to accuse President Barack Obama of founding Islamic State.
“And I would say, the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton“, he added.
“No, Barack Obama is not the founder of ISIS”, Clinton tweeted.
Hewitt prodded Trump, suggesting the GOP nominee meant that Obama “created the vacuum, he lost the peace”, and was not to be taken literally. If you wanted to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, an overly generous reading of his comments would be something like, President Obama and his former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy decisions in Iraq, Libya and elsewhere have contributed to the rise of ISIS.
When Hewitt said he would use “different language” to communicate a message on the Obama administration’s policies, Trump responded: “But they wouldn’t talk about your language and they do talk about my language. The President has been trying to play down ISIS like it’s not that big of a deal, like they are not as powerful”, he said.
It’s an exaggeration to say, as some Trump backers do, that Clinton is getting a free pass from the press. “He was the founder”.
“We should have never and I have been saying from the beginning we should have never got into Iraq. But to say that an elected official in our country founded a terrorist organization like ISIS is taking the facts that took place in 2011 and carrying that far too far”.
Trump claimed last month that his comments calling on Russian hackers to find 30,000 emails missing from Clinton’s private server were also sarcastic. Many see the NY real estate mogul as spending too much time fighting within his own party and have called on him to refocus his campaign message on Clinton.
Rep. Seth Moulton, a Clinton endorser and Democrat from MA as well as an Iraq War veteran, said the incident was evidence that Trump is “reckless and unfit to be our commander in chief”.
In a rare show of humility by the boastful billionaire, Donald Trump is acknowledging that his presidential campaign faces challenges and could ultimately fall short.
Trump told the crowd if they value their right to bear arms, the election will be crucial. He added, : “They don’t get sarcasm?”
“I would say they could be tried there”, Trump said, referring to Guantanamo Bay. During an interview on CNBC, Trump even feigned surprise that what he said was controversial in the first place. He was the most valuable player.

The latest controversy comes after Mr Trump faced a backlash after hinting that gun rights supporters might attack Ms Clinton, something that seemed to cause genuine shock in a country that has grown used to Mr Trump pushing the boundaries of appropriate political discourse. The fact of the matter is that once Trump chose to run for president, he became a politician.
