Donald Trump calls Flint pastor who interrupted him a “nervous mess”

Timmons “is a rock for her community in trying times”, Clinton said.

Rev. Faith Green Timmons made herself Donald Trump’s latest public enemy in just 20 words. “She deserves better” than Trump’s criticism.

He went on to make a few remarks about fixing Flint’s drinking water problems, but some in the crowd began to heckle.

It only took one sentence for a Flint, Michigan, pastor to shut down what she deemed as inappropriate comments from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump yesterday (September 14). The Republican nominee returned to the topic of Flint for about 90 seconds before leaving the stage; an embarrassing spectacle that Trump quickly avenged by savaging Reverend Faith Green Timmons in TV interviews as a “nervous mess”.

“She was so nervous, she was shaking. Not to give a political speech”, she said.

“She was like a nervous mess”, he added.

Trump was lip-synching a different tune today on Fox “News”. “I wanted him to see intelligent people, loving people, caring people who have done well with the resources that they had. HE WILL NOT USE US, WE will EDUCATE HIM!”

Clinton defended Timmons, arguing that she was politely enforcing her request that politics not be brought up on her pulpit.

“The United Methodist Church has open hearts, open doors and open minds. You came here to welcome our workers and thank them for what they have done and that’s what he stuck to”. I’m going to fix it.

“Something was up because I noticed she was so nervous when she introduced me”, he said.

He stated that the audience at the church was on his side and chanted “let him speak”. “Flint’s pain is a result of so many different failures”. In April, Timmons spoke about the water contamination’s effect on her own family, which included her daughter suffering from severe rashes and her son profusely vomiting.

“We’ll get it fixed”, he said.

Trump had traveled to the suffering MI city of Flint in part to learn about how it has dealt with a major public health crisis prompted by the lead contamination of its drinking water.

It is work Timmons is clearly proud of, and that she maintains she invited Trump to observe.
