Donald Trump calls for immigrants to take ideology test

REPUBLICAN presidential candidate Donald Trump pursued his “Muslim scare” approach on Monday evening by pledging to introduce “extreme vetting” of immigrants seeking admission to the United States.

“We should only admit into this country those that share our values and respect our people”, said Trump.

Donald Trump on Monday proposed Cold War-scale efforts to battle “radical Islamic terror” that would include subjecting immigrants and visitors to the U.S. to “extreme vetting”.

Naturally, the speech was filled with blatant errors and hypocrisies-including Trump’s criticism of President Obama for his supporting of the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak, despite the fact that Trump himself claimed to support the move in an Fox News interview in 2011.

“Trump would have no patience for Pakistan’s “good militant/bad militant” policy, which could inject new levels of tensions into (the) relationship”, Kugelman argued. “The time is long overdue to develop a new screening test for the threats we face today”, the Republican candidate said.

But though India and a Trump-led U.S. could agree on counter-terrorism, he cautioned, “we can assume that other Trump policies toward India would not be at all well received in Delhi”.

Trump has also slammed Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for her foreign policy plans. “We will be tough, and we will be even extreme”, he said.

He vowed to be quick and decisive when attacking ISIS, and is calling for the temporary suspension of immigration from risky and volatile regions in the world where terrorism is frequent.

Trump has since said he was being sarcastic in accusing Obama of founding the Islamic State. “We don’t need more”.

‘In addition to screening out all members or sympathizers of terrorist groups, we must also screen out any who have hostile attitudes towards our country or its principles – or who believe that Sharia law should supplant American law.

Trump first announced his call for banning Muslims a year ago during the GOP primary.

North Atlantic Treaty Organisation has been dealing with terrorism as an alliance since after the September 11, 2001, attacks on the US.

In less than four sentences, Donald Trump managed to implicitly praise Muammar Qaddafi of Libya, Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad and Egypt’s military dictator Abdul Fattah El-Sisi, who has successfully transformed himself into the second coming of Hosni Mubarak.

Trump also said he would temporarily suspend all immigration from countries where the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security conclude that adequate screening is not possible and he suggested a sharp reduction in the number of visitors from the Middle East.

He wagged his finger at his audience in the former steel town of Youngstown, Ohio, and repeated the phrase “extreme vetting” to convey seriousness, but he gave no details about what this might entail.

“The rise of ISIS is the direct result of policy decisions made by President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton”, he said.

More out of the mainstream, Trump again endorsed working more closely with Russian Federation to fight terrorism. “I’d blow up every single inch, there would be nothing left”, he said in November”.

Trump’s accusation that Obama and Clinton created the Islamic State group had imperiled the lives of USA troops, Biden said.
