Trump repeated, “I have no opinion right now”.

For about 10 minutes before leaving in his helicopter, Trump addressed the roughly 1000 people waiting outside who were unable to get into the arena.

On Monday, Trump said, “I have no idea what the meeting is really….”

“I’ve had hundreds of people call in and tweet in on Twitter, saying that they saw it and I was 100 per cent right”.

Much of the new ad shows a CNN report depicting how Trump’s contortions match those of the journalist.

So has Trump’s claim that the Trans-Pacific Partnership “was designed for China to come in, as they always do, through the back door and totally take advantage of everyone”.

Political scientist John Sides has written several times about how the media have covered Trump far more extensively than other candidates, and demonstrated the close correlation between his poll numbers and his ratio of mentions in media stories.

The mix-up with the black pastors is the latest misstep by Mr. Trump.

“I have a very good memory, I’ll tell you”, he said. We were writing stuff about Trump going bankrupt.

His campaign issued a news release last week that read: “Mr. Trump will be joined by a coalition of 100 African-American evangelical pastors and religious leaders who will endorse the GOP front-runner after a private meeting at Trump Tower”. “As people of God, you are surely aware of the emotional, spiritual, and physical toll continued structural and state violence takes on Black people”.

Trump also went after Bush for supporting Common Core. At a rally on Saturday, Trump insisted that he would “never” mock someone in that fashion, adding: “I didn’t know him, it’s possible, probable that I met him somewhere along the line, but I deal with reporters every day”. For almost 20 minutes Trump delivered a rambling diatribe on how the media misrepresents him.

They also expressed concern that the meeting on Monday would “give Trump the appearance of legitimacy among those who follow your leadership and respect your position as clergy”.

In an article titled “Black Pastors Expected to Endorse Donald Trump”, the New York Times quoted the Trump campaign as its source.

“Let me be clear”, she wrote on Facebook.

The leading Republican nominee has built his campaign on blurting out un-politically correct comments, which have gone down well with some supporters. “I just know that I’m winning by a lot”. Trump said speaking to the parents of a young child at the rally.
