Donald Trump catching on among Massachusetts GOP voters

Donald Trump, the front-runner for the Republican presidential nomination, has received his most important endorsement yet as Chris Christie backed his bid for the White House.

Making his announcement on Friday, Christie singled out Trump as the strongest candidate in the Republican race.

“When it moves to the general election, I think you’re going to see a real seriousness”, she said, “with people turning and saying, ‘What do we know about this man?'”

Christie, the blunt-talking governor of New Jersey, dropped out of the presidential race two weeks ago, after a disappointing sixth-place finish in the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary. Christie memorably attacked the freshman senator at the final Republican debate before the New Hampshire primary, tripping up Rubio in a moment that likely contributed to his poor performance in the state’s primary.

The endorsement by the New Jersey governor gives Trump, from neighboring NY, a lift ahead of next week’s crucial Super Tuesday nominating contests.

LePage’s endorsement, revealed in a radio interview with Howie Carr, came on the same day that Gov. Chris Christie endorsed the NY businessman for the presidency. We the people are right and we the people are supporting Donald Trump.

“This guy’s got more coverage on this network by a multiple of five or six than any of the rest of us, and he says he is being treated unfairly?” Christie caught the room by surprise when he stepped out to join Trump at a Forth Worth news conference announcing the governor’s support.

Baker said he’s not persuaded that Trump will lock up the nomination after the Super Tuesday contests.

“Since I started this whole thing I’ve been practically Number 1”, Trump said at a rally in Texas.

Gov. Paul LePage is endorsing Donald Trump for president. Marco Rubio, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

“He’s the only candidate who’s showing a vision for the future”, he said.

“I’m now suspecting him of being involved in the Lindbergh baby kidnapping”, he quipped of Christie’s loyalties.

Each scheduled campaign events in Texas before going to Oklahoma City.

“I don’t think his temperament is suited for that, and I don’t think his experience is”, Christie said.

Notably, Trump has also been endorsed by Congressmen Chris Collins, Congressman Duncan Hunter, former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin, South Carolina Lt Governor Henry McMaster, and Arizona Treasurer Jeff DeWitt.

Anxious to slow Trump, both Rubio and Cruz go after him
