Donald Trump Counters Hillary Clinton’s Obama Endorsement with Don King

When it comes to endorsing Donald Trump, boxing promoter Don King is staying in a neutral corner. It’s amusing, I just got this, it was just sent to me by Don King.

King, who was in Louisville on Friday for Muhammad Ali’s funeral, vehemently denied supporting the casino tycoon.

Trump told the Washington Post, presumably also with a straight face: “I am not a racist, in fact, I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered”.

When asked by the Post on Friday if he was concerned that people might have the impression that he is a racist, Trump indicated that he was not, because “I don’t believe that people believe it”.

Where have we seen Trump and King cross paths before? He said he was leaning toward Trump, but he’d been hearing that Trump was a racist, and if that were true, that would stop him from casting a ballot for the man.

“I like Mr. Trump”, King told the Daily News. “He’s an idol of America”, King added. “Don King, and so many other African Americans who know me well and endorsed me, would not have done so if they thought I was a racist!”

“And Don King said, “Donald, I am endorsing you for President.’ You think Don King, and he know me well, is going to endorse a racist?” Trump has made a push in recent days to push back against criticism of his attacks on a federal judge’s heritage. Okay? And I don’t believe he’s a racist, but he was called a racist by Obama, and very loudly and very strongly.

“Either choice is destructive”, Romney said. I love this country.
