Donald Trump Cracks Hillary Clinton Assassination Joke
“That will be a terrible day”.

The comment raised the specter of political violence and earned widespread condemnation, though Trump supporters denied that he was encouraging violence.
Two of Connecticut’s more conservative voices formerly in Congress announced on Wednesday that they will vote for Hillary Clinton in the general election.
“She will start with a credibility and familiarity with our allies around the world”, said Lieberman. “I’ve watched this video multiple times and couldn’t come up where he’s trying to incite violence”.
“Give me a break”.
Rather – who covered the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas – called Trump’s “Second Amendment people” remark “a new low”, unprecedented “in the history of American presidential politics”. “There is tremendous political power to save the Second Amendment, tremendous, and. you look at the power [gun rights supporters] have in terms of votes and that’s what I was referring to, obviously that’s what I was referring to and everybody knows it”.
“I do not like Trump, but I thought it was probably a joke”. People are taking it way out of context. It doesn’t do anything but instigate others to do devious things.
Clinton’s campaign responded to the ad with a statement, telling CNN: “The gun lobby is coming to Donald Trump’s defense and spending millions of dollars to spread lies about Hillary Clinton because they know Trump will always do their bidding”. Among the broader electorate, 44 percent of registered voters say they want Trump to leave the race.
“So, the guy who just joked about armed revolt and shooting a president is the guy I’m supposed to trust with (the Supreme Court) and nukes”. For him, everything is a reality show.
That’s clearly how the Clinton campaign took those remarks.
Although Trump had previously told CBS News that he doesn’t condone any sort of violence, his notorious “Second Amendment” statement isn’t the first time he’s been accused of supporting violent behavior while speaking at Republican rallies.
Mr Trump answered by saying there could be no other interpretation of his words other than the one he had given.

“Donald Trump represents practically everything I was taught not to be, and taught our daughter not to be”, Shays said of the Republican presidential nominee, in remarks released by Clinton’s campaign. He says it doesn’t appear Trump’s comments reach that level. “He just doesn’t think before he speaks”.
