Trump is under fire for criticizing Fox anchor Megyn Kelly during and after a Republican debate on Thursday.

Belittle Trump’s claim to be a truth-teller by arguing that self-promotion is the billionaire’s guiding philosophy.

The event’s organiser, radio host Erick Erickson, offered similar sentiments when he dropped Mr Trump after his comments on CNN.

“Anybody who criticizes you, you go after them, you find something in their physical appearance”, Todd said.

I cherish women. I want to help women”. “I’m leading by double digits, so maybe I shouldn’t change”, he boasted.

After that interview was taped on Friday, Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon that Kelly’s questions were “off-base” and “ridiculous”.

His remark about a female debate moderator cost him a prime-time speaking slot at an Atlanta conference where several other presidential candidates spoke to about 1,000 conservative activists.

“I apologize when I’m wrong, but I haven’t been wrong”. According to an email obtained by the Associated Press, Stone wrote to Trump, “The current controversies involving personalities and provocative media fights have reached such a high volume that it has distracted attention from your platform and overwhelmed your core message”. Her comments drew howls of protest before Kelly reminded viewers that they were tongue-in-cheek.

“When I started this campaign, I was asked on a national television show whether a woman’s hormones prevented her from serving in the Oval Office”, she said. “If you think a question is tough, imagine the pressure of actually being in the Oval Office”, she said.

During appearances on four different Sunday shows Mr Trump mixed his usual combination of insults, bluster and the occasional non-sequitur. “I didn’t even think that”. “I have no idea whether he’s conservative”, the senator said.

Baier asked the candidates to raise their hands if they could not pledge they wouldn’t an independent against the nominee. “I have no idea what his real philosophy is, other than that he is for promoting himself“.

Trump contended on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that it’s former Florida governor Jeb Bush who has the problem with women, thanks to a comment Bush made that last week when discussing cutting off federal money for Planned Parenthood. “Do we want to win?”

Trump scoffed. “She’s having a lot of fun”, while running away from her troubled HP tenure and losing Senate race in California, he said.

“We beat Sharknado”, Rubio said.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich also pushed back against Trump on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday.

Trump also professed his love for women, pointing to the many he’s hired over the years to work for him.
