Donald Trump defends Putin

It may not have been the choicest of venues for Donald Trump, as he disputes the charge that he is being played by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As TheWrap previously reported, Lauer has been put through the ringer after what many have called a “pathetic” performance at Wednesday night’s event, which apparently got equally bad reviews from NBC execs.

“Not only did the moderator, Matt Lauer, fail to fact-check Trump – he then kept the conversation moving”, the email read. He said the media had insufficiently scrutinized Trump’s claims but said voters will make “a good decision”.

President Barack Obama is hitting back at Donald Trump for the Republican’s frequent criticism of Obama’s foreign policy.

In the U.S., Putin has an 8% approval rating. Clinton’s answer, unsurprisingly, is no.

Replied questioner Mike Barnicle, “You’re kidding me”.

In years past, Labor Day marked the start of the general election campaign.

This Quinnipiac poll, however, is very different from a new Suffolk University poll that has Trump up three points among North Carolinians.

Perhaps Lauer should have pressed Trump harder on his Iraq war lie.

Personally I have no idea which ticket Isis will be campaigning for, come November. He’s never specified what, exactly, he was sorry about. According to The New York Times Lauer spent a third of his time with Clinton asking about the candidate’s use of a private e-mail server, a topic that has been asked repeatedly and is a line of questioning that offers no new information to the viewing audience.

Hillary Clinton: “Every Republican holding or seeking office in this country should be asked if they agree with Donald Trump about these statements”. She took a total of six questions including one about the tightening of the polls and another about putting troops in Iraq and Syria.

But, certainly, in that system, he’s been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader. Clinton has done this in recent days, throwing jab after jab at Trump in a relentless effort to take voters’ eyes off her many scandals and get the public to focus on Trump. “He should be held to the same standard of truthfulness of his statements”.

Clinton’s strategy could be effective if she sticks with it.

“It was a test, and he failed it”, Clinton said.

“I had to learn as a young woman to control my emotions. Because you need to protect yourself, you need to keep steady, but at the same time you don’t want to seem ‘walled off, ‘” she wrote in the post. “And I could see myself working that out”.

Some of the pushback is clearly strategic.

Trump contributed Dollars 60 million to his campaign in August, which then turned out to be his best fund-raising month with USD 90 million as the total amount raised.

With the first debate scheduled for later this month, Clinton’s campaign is trying to ensure that Trump is positioned for a tough evaluation, recognizing that expectations can matter even more than actual performance.

Clinton will look to draw attention to some of her policy platforms in the coming weeks by delivering a series of “Stronger Together” speeches around the new book that she and running mate Tim Kaine published this week, Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s spokeswoman, said Thursday.
