Donald Trump: Democrats have ‘failed and betrayed’ African-Americans
With 82 days to go until the election, Trump’s campaign has been listing badly following a recent series of gaffes that had even members of his own party begging him to reel in his brash remarks.

Trump also accused Clinton and Democrats of deepening racial divides and fostering “the unsafe anti-police atmosphere in America”.
As reliably Republican states like Georgia, South Carolina, Utah, Texas, and more become the new swing states, do not be surprised if it is driven by Trump underperforming, or flat out losing, the veterans vote.
The Clinton speech is a part of a coordinated effort by her campaign in key battleground states, to emphasize how tax breaks for the wealthy proposed by Trump “would come at great cost to much-needed investments in infrastructure, education, health care, and other priorities”, a Clinton campaign official said.
A strong candidate at the top of the ticket often helps their party’s down-ballot candidates, and top Democrats say they’ve never seen such a lopsided presidential contest. He said that Clinton’s policies have contributed to poverty and have put led to the deterioration of inner cities.
“It just absolutely bewilders me when I hear Donald Trump try to talk about national security”, Clinton said, pointing to Vice President Joe Biden’s dissection of Trump’s foreign policy at a Pennsylvania event on Monday.
“Those peddling the narrative of cops as a racist force in our society, a narrative supported with a nod by my opponent, share directly in the responsibility for the unrest in Milwaukee and many other places within our country”, Trump said. Authorities said Smith was stopped for acting suspiciously and was shot by police because he was carrying an illegal handgun and refused orders to drop it.
“Because actually he would give trillions of dollars in more tax breaks to the wealthy”, she alleged.
Trump began his visit to the city with a meeting with local law enforcement officers at the Milwaukee County War Memorial Center on Lake Michigan.
“I’m asking for the vote of every African- American citizen struggling in our country today who wants a different and much better future”.
Talking about the incident in an interview with Fox News, Trump sided with the officer, saying he had a right to defend himself.
President Barack Obama has called Mr Trump “unfit” for the presidency and earlier this month warned the Republican candidate that briefing information must be kept secret. Who can have a problem with that? “If it is true, people shouldn’t be rioting”, he added. Trump has tried to depict himself as the law-and-order candidate in the USA presidential race.
As of last week, Clinton’s campaign had spent more than $58 million on general election ads, according to Kantar Media’s political advertising tracker.

For now, Clinton has erased Trump’s advantage with men, cut into his lead with whites, and improved her lead with women up to 16 points.
