Donald Trump Dr. Oz Video: Watch Episode Where GOP Candidate Talks Health

The release came amid calls for both Clinton and Donald Trump, two of the oldest presidential nominees in history, to reveal more about their personal health. In December, Trump’s campaign released a short, quickly written letter from that doctor saying the candidate didn’t have any significant medical problems. It was performed last week by Dr. Harold Bornstein, a doctor at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY and Trump’s long-time physician.

He noted that Trump had been hospitalized only once, for an appendectomy when he was 11 years old, and that his parents lived into their late 80s and 90s.

Press reports had indicated that Trump was planning to roll out the results of his physical on Dr. Oz, but Trump’s campaign denied that before the show started taping.

It also said an EKG and chest X-ray this year were normal.

Trump’s health summary was released a day after the release of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s second letter from her doctor after she suffered from a bout of pneumonia and almost fainted at a September 11 memorial event.

Following suit, Trump provided Dr Oz host Mehmet Oz with a letter from his doctor – which he has not made available to other media – in which his weight and high-cholesterol are disclosed.

Trump’s blood pressure was 116 over 70, and his blood sugar was 99.

His liver and thyroid function tests are “within normal range”, and there is “no family history” of heart disease or tumours – although his father Fred had Alzheimer’s Disease, which is not mentioned in the letter.

He last underwent a colonoscopy on July 10, 2013, which was normal, and no polyps were found.

“The cholesterol I think is quite good”. She took three days off the campaign trail to recover from what Bardack later said was pneumonia.
