Donald Trump Endorses Paul Ryan at Wisconsin Rally
Trump’s refusal to back Ryan in a Washington Post interview on Tuesday had stunned Republicans already unnerved by his unorthodox candidacy for president. So extending an olive branch to Paul Ryan – the popular Republican representative of the 1st District of Wisconsin – looks like a strategic move for Trump if he wants the support of fellow Republicans hoping for a strong challenger to defeat Hillary Clinton come November.

Trump has praised Putin as a great leader, and taken policy positions “consistent with Russian, not American, interests”, including endorsing Russian espionage against U.S. figures like Clinton, Morell said. Kelly Ayotte, with whom he has sparred. “We may disagree on a couple of things but mostly we agree”, the Guardian quoted him as saying. “This is truly one of the most important elections in my lifetime”, Trump said at an election rally in Ryans home state of Wisconsin.
At a rally Friday evening in Green Bay, Wis., Trump appeared uneasy as he read prepared remarks endorsing Ryan, but he grinned and flashed two thumbs up as the crowd cheered.
Ryan said he “rejects” any religious test for entering the country – a clear jab at one of Trump’s evolving immigration proposals – and that “Captain Khan was one such courageous example” of Muslim-Americans who have “served valiantly in our military and made the ultimate sacrifice”.
“I may have short circuited and for that I will try to clarify”, Clinton said, though still insisting she “never sent or received anything that was marked classified”.
“It doesn’t make me feel good when people say those things, and I recognize that I have work to do”, Clinton said.
“Working hand in hand, we will grow our majority in the House and in the Senate”, Trump said.
Trump conceded Friday he was wrong to claim repeatedly in recent days that he saw a video of a US cash payment going to Iran.
Complicating the Republican Party’s 2016 challenge are fresh signs the nation’s economy is strengthening under a Democratic president.

The New York billionaire has cited a $400 million payment the USA made to Iran this year, delivered on the same day that Iran released four American hostages. It was a remarkable breach of protocol for the party’s White House nominee to withhold support from its most powerful member of Congress. Trump has also tweeted a series of pro-Nehlen messages in recent days. Please see our terms of service for more information.
