Romney’s and Kasich’s endorsements of Ryan’s reelection campaign come as Trump endorsed Ryan on Friday night over in Green Bay, after previously withholding his endorsement of Ryan’s reelection.

Mr Ryan had dismissed Mr Trump’s refusal to support him and said that the only endorsements that mattered to him were those from voters in his district.

In contrast to Trump, Pence created a split in the ticket by endorsing Ryan this week. “I have officially endorsed Paul Ryan — and together, we will fight for you, and together we will Make America Great Again!” He says he is still “watching and waiting and evaluating”. “She is a rising star and will continue to represent the great people of New Hampshire so very well for a very long time“.

Nehlen says Trump’s decision “is appropriate and is a display of true leadership”.

“We are used to out-of-state interlopers coming in and trying to hijack our system”, Ryan said.

In addition to praising Mr Ryan, Donald Trump also threw his support behind John McCain, saying he held the Arizona senator “in the highest esteem. for his service to our country in uniform and in public office”.

He adds that, “This campaign is not about me or any one candidate”, and says: “We will have disagreements”.

He spoke about how Trump won the GOP primary “fair and square”.

“I’m not going to get into any hypotheticals”, he said.

Nehlen had released a statement defending Trump amid criticism over his remarks about the Muslim parents of a slain US solider.

Nehlen was asked whether he was calling for deporting all U.S. Muslims. He said, “I’m suggesting we have a discussion about it, that’s for sure”.

Wisconsin’s Republican primary is on Tuesday.

Ryan called that a “dark, grim, indefensible” idea.

Paul Ryan maintained Friday when speaking with Milwaukee radio host Charlie Sykes that his endorsement of Trump is not a “blank check”.

Republican U.S. presidential nominee Donald Trump attends a campaign event at the Merrill Auditorium in Portland, Maine August 4, 2016.

“Wait, you’re the one who said you’d support him”, the narrator in the DCCC ad says. But Vos, too, was skipping the Trump rally on Friday.

The tycoon declared his support for Mr Ryan in next week’s United States congressional primary, and declared: “Arm in arm, we will rescue the country from the Obama-Clinton disaster”.

In the interview, Vos said Trump needs to apologize for his comments about Ryan.

None of the top-ranking Wisconsin Republicans are attending the Trump event.

Following his formation all-male teams of foreign affairs advisers and national security advisers, Donald Trump today unveiled an all-male team of economic policy advisers, a group which includes donors to his campaign. It said he will focus on “empowering Americans by freeing up the necessary tools for everyone to gain economically”.

Trump was referring to his running mate, Mike Pence, the conservative governor of Indiana.

It’s a similar line of attack that Trump has faced from Clinton, who has accused the brash billionaire of being “temperamentally unfit” to serve as commander in chief. “We need very strong leadership”, Trump had said.

“He’s a good man and he’s a good guy”, Trump added, as he gave a thumbs up sign.
