Donald Trump expected to endorse Paul Ryan after saying he wouldn’t

“In the intelligence business, we would say that Mr Putin had recruited Mr Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation”, he added.

The tycoon told The Washington Post in an interview earlier this week that he was “just not quite there yet” when it came to backing the House Speaker – echoing the rhetoric used by Mr Ryan in relation to the party’s presidential nominee. “Paul Ryan”, Mr Trump said on Friday.

“Paul Ryan, good, good man, he’s a good man and he’s a good guy”, Trump said.

But Ryan wasn’t the only Republican whom Trump refused to endorse. “We need very strong leadership”.

Mr. Ryan leads Mr. Nehlen in the Janesville district 80 percent to 14 percent, according to a Remington Research Group poll released Friday.

Joe Borelli, a Trump co-chair in NY, said the campaign will weather the storm.

On Saturday, Trump made no mention of the endorsements and centered his attention on Clinton.

Meanwhile, the Republican nominee announced his economic advisory team, boasting that its members are “some of the top economists in the country”.

In addition, the Republican candidate plans to release his framework for boosting the USA economy in a speech in Detroit on Monday, an event that will offer him a chance to avoid theatrics and to detail how he would handle economic issues if elected.

Trump economic adviser Stephen Moore told Reuters that the candidate’s plan would focus on four areas: tax, deregulation, energy policy and trade.

“We need more effective spending and Trump wants to do that – to have stronger finances for the country”, he said.

“Wait, you’re the one who said you’d support him”, the narrator in the DCCC ad says.

“Is there anything that he could say that would cause you to basically say, I’m cancelling that check?”

Heavy hitters like Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh had all expressed the hope that Ryan would lose to his primary opponent Paul Nehlen. The vulnerable Republican has not said that he won’t vote for him November.

The billionaire tycoon had caused a rift earlier this week by saying that he was not ready to endorse Mr Ryan. “The baby that had a voice that was superior to Pavarotti”, he said.

And she did what she has rarely done during the presidential campaign: take questions from reporters.

Clinton also acknowledged many people don’t trust her.

The email controversy has fuelled a perception among a majority of voters that Clinton is untrustworthy. “I have a duty and obligation to respect this process”, he said.

Trump continued with his full-throttle attack on Clinton. He may also have seen that poll and realized backing a candidate that was going to lose badly wouldn’t look good for his campaign.
