Trump’s 104-page report lists him as a director, chairman, president or member of some 564 companies collectively worth somewhere north of one-and-a-half billion, though Trump has publicly stated he’s worth more than 10 billion. Donald Trump doesn’t meet those standards.
If another Republican is willing to put his or her political future on the line by running as a third-party candidate, it is already too late to get on the ballot in some states and will soon be too late in many others.

It counts in the sense that Washington’s support for rival candidates will be registered at the Republican National Convention, during which the delegate allocations from each state will be announced and recorded.
Otherwise they risk seeing another Democrat at the White House in at least four years to come.
