Donald Trump Forces Ted Cruz To Pour A Drink

Ted Cruz (R-Texas) appeared on The Tonight Show Thursday, and even took a call from his arch rival Donald Trump, played by Jimmy Fallon.

Cruz, who has won 545 delegates, trails Trump, who has received 743.

The skit also brought up Cruz’s “New York values” remark, and the fake Trump advised him to start writing down the advice. Trump, who hasn’t won 50 percent in any primary or caucus yet (though he may in New York April 19), isn’t.

“For a man who styles himself as a warrior against the establishment (you wouldn’t know it from his list of donors and endorsers), you’d think he would be demanding a vote for Coloradans”, said Trump. “If I don’t make it, you’re going to have millions of people that don’t vote for a Republican”.

One Trump supporter made his way through the protest with Trump paraphernalia screaming, “ISIS is here!” “The Trump organization did not do much to get their supporters to go to the county and district conventions”.

The Trump campaign got some good news when a Florida prosecutor announced that Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, would not be prosecuted on a misdemeanor battery charge involving a reporter he was accused of grabbing at an event last month.

“I love New York City”.

“When I said New York Values, I was merely trying to say I value New York, except I was saying it backwards, the way Yoda would say it”, he explains to the audience. “We’re going to have the 1,237 delegates and if they cheat us, be prepared for war”, he promised.

Louisiana GOP Executive Director Jason Dore said if any candidate loses pledged delegates on a second ballot, they only have themselves to blame for poor organizational work by the campaign. “He did it, though, so he has a lot of merit to it. I hope he uses the same merit to run the country”. The protesters at the Capitol say Trump could have had the most sophisticated campaign ever and it wouldn’t have mattered because the system was rigged.

Donning black tie attire and speaking just 16 blocks from his glitzy Trump Tower, Trump spent most of his speech – almost the first 20 minutes – listing his achievements in the NY real estate business.

Ten Republican candidates who are seeking Wyoming’s open seat in the U.S. House will also speak on Saturday.

“We are a divided nation”, Trump said at a rally in upstate NY, ahead of the state’s primary Tuesday in which 95 GOP delegates are up for grabs.
