Former Hewlett Packard CEO and GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is not allowing fellow Republican candidate and businessman Donald Trump to steal her momentum.

The viewership of the primetime 9pm to 11pm debate, in which frontrunner billionaire Donald Trump squared off against nine of his top Republican challengers for the nomination, is by far the highest rating of any presidential primary debate. An earlier debate between the rest of the GOP field garnered about six million viewers, the numbers said. On Fox after the debate, Kelly noted that it “creates an awkward dynamic” to have Trump attack her after she has asked a tough question about what he has said and done to women. “However, that is not without its downsides, in particular, when it comes to women”, Fox News personality and moderator Megyn Kelly said.
Erickson said while he likes Trump personally, “I just don’t want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal”.

A spokesperson for the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze. “It just was wrong”.

Fiorina, who lost a bid for the U.S. Senate in 2010 to Sen. Jon McCain’s war record, with some pundits and rivals suggesting that he lacks political decorum.
