Donald Trump has nothing but love for Vladimir Putin
The catch is that the well-known person in this case, as you may have heard, was Vladimir Putin.

“I’m confused”, the MSNBC host said.
Putin praised Trump this week as “bright and talented”, and Trump released a statement of gratitude about the former KGB agent.
When host Joe Scarborough pointed out to Trump that Putin “kills journalists and political opponents” and “invades countries”, Trump countered this way: “He’s running this country, and at least he’s a leader”.
Putin said he was unsure whether to keep a permanent base in Syria, because Russia’s new sea- and air-launched cruise missiles used recently in the country have given Moscow enough punch to strike from afar.
I think it’s fair to say that this is not very reassuring about Trump’s instincts or approach to political power.
Republicans have frequently taken to bashing Putin and have used his rocky relationship with Democratic President Barack Obama as evidence that the administration lacks strength in worldwide affairs. I think that he is a strong leader.
Earlier in the day, Putin subjected Turkey to a furious tirade, using barrack-room language to wonder aloud whether it had shot down the Russian warplane to curry favor with the United States.
Nevertheless, Trump chose to believe the most complimentary versions of the story, and responded to the Russian president this morning. Trump eventually said he “absolutely” condemns Putin’s alleged killing of journalists and political dissidents.
Russian Federation launched a bombing campaign in Syria on September 30 at the request of al-Assad that Moscow says is targeting Islamic State and other jihadists groups mixed in among the rebel factions. The Russian government has denied any involvement.
He considers the handling of US-Russian relations by President Obama effective in terms of US interests while standing up for basic worldwide standards violated by the activities of Russia along its border with Ukraine. There’s also rampant corruption – and, as U.S. News and World Report noted in July, the most recent poll conducted in the country is subject to a lot of reasons to suspect that his popularity numbers are inflated. But “I think that I would at the same time get along very well with him”. “I don’t know if the Americans need this”.

Putin added he “certainly welcomes” Trump’s calls for better U.S.-Russia ties.
