Last week, Gov. Paul LePage endorsed Trump. He called Romney a “failed candidate” and “choke artist” who let the party down when he lost to Democratic President Barack Obama. “He is not afraid of the political establishment”. One protest group is expected to stand on Congress Square in Portland and allow passerbys to throw pies at people dressed as Donald Trump. He says he is very concerned about Trump’s statements about Muslims and women. At least four protesters were thrown out of the rally itself, which was held at the Westin Portland Harborview Hotel Ballroom.
