Donald Trump: I’m “starting to agree” Clinton should be in jail
As she prepared to deliver her speech, people familiar with the matter said the FBI is investigating a cyber attack against another Democratic Party group, which may be related to an earlier hack against the Democratic National Committee.

BILL CLINTON, Former President of the United States: If you were sitting where I’m sitting and you heard what I have heard at every dinner conversation, at every lunch conversation, on every long walk, you would say, this woman has never been satisfied with the status quo in anything.
Donald Trump is trying very hard to convert – though not exactly “woo”, strictly speaking – Bernie Sanders supporters.
“What part of America first leads Trump to make Trump dress shirts in Bangladesh not Ashland, Pennsylvania”, said Clinton.
Now, can Hillary Clinton overcome her historically high negative ratings for a Democratic presidential candidate?
But the trip also hints at a problem within Clinton’s base, as well: White, working class voters, especially those hurt by globalization and manufacturing plants are drawn to Trump’s message of economic security and cracking down on immigration. “And I couldn’t stop thinking of my mother and what she went through as a child”, Clinton said.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump addresses supporters at the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum in Denver, Colorado on July 29, 2016. Having the best résumé, doing the flawless interview and even providing the most stellar references (“Applicant saved me from a burning building once and makes a damn good cup of coffee; hire him!”) does not always guarantee that you’ll get the job.
Clinton also rejected much of the Trump rhetoric that has been a constant on the trail, while mocking him as a thin-skinned candidate who “loses his cool” at the slightest provocation.
Chelsea Clinton introduced the Democratic Party nominee.
On her bus tour, she is accompanied by her husband, her running mate Virginia Senator Tim Kaine and his wife Anne. Thursday night, as she stood on that sky blue stage in her pearl white pantsuit, you could imagine her in the ring with Trump. “I take deeply and with great humility the responsibility this campaign imposes on us”.
The former president sought to change the narrative about her, suggesting that her political opponents have painted her as a cartoon character. “She has to identify two or three issues she really cares about and run on those, mention them again and again, and those issues have to have a clear contrast from Donald Trump”, he says.
To execute this strategy, Clinton and her top aides are looking to press an argument that opposing Trump is not just the right thing to do, but the patriotic decision, something they feel will resonate with longtime Republicans who are disenchanted with Trump.
For a woman caricatured as humorless, she showed a light touch, noting Trump doesn’t talk about his plans because he doesn’t have any while, “In case you haven’t noticed, I love to talk about mine”.
A few days ago, Trump criticized Clinton for not putting more American flags on display at the Democratic convention.

The same can be said, of course, for Trump’s vision of attracting disenchanted supporters of Vermont Sen. With the Democrats’ sunnier performance, Clinton should get her own bump as the 14-week sprint to Election Day begins.
