Donald Trump Immigration Policy To Be ‘Fair And Humane’: Campaign Chief
In a campaign speech in Des Moines, Iowa, Trump also cited the shooting death of a cousin of National Basketball Association star Dwyane Wade to urge African-American voters to rally behind him, calling it an example of violence that has to be addressed.

Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the upcoming US Presidential elections will give a long-awaited speech on illegal immigration on Wednesday, after postponing it several times.
Trump believes that limiting illegal immigration would help America with unemployment.
In his speech, Trump said he would seek to institute a tracking system to ensure illegal immigrants who overstay their visas are quickly removed, and would propose an e-verify system to prevent the illegal community from gaining access to welfare and other benefits.
Trump vowed that if he takes office, he would immediately deport thousands of illegal immigrants with criminal records who are now residing in the US.
Trump caused confusion on his signature issue of immigration last week, when he told Fox News’ Sean Hannity he is open to altering his position on illegal immigrants already living in the United States.
Since I wouldn’t want to “take phrases and statements, chop them up, take them out of context”, as Trump accused the media of doing on Saturday, here is a link to watch his entire speech.
Asked whether the “deportation force” proposal Trump laid out in November is still in place, Pence replied: “Well, what you heard him describe there, in his usual plainspoken, American way, was a mechanism, not a policy”.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump met with about two dozen Latino supporters in Nevada to discuss strategies for boosting Hispanic turnout in the swing state, part of his effort to make the case that. “There’ll be no path to legalization, no path to citizenship unless people leave the country”.
“I don’t like that but, hopefully, that’s going to change”, Branstad said.
“Every time an African American citizen, or any citizen, loses their job to an illegal immigrant, the rights of that American citizen have been totally violated”, he argued.
Trump’s new campaign director, Kellyanne Conway, said there has been little real change in the central tenet’s of Trump’s immigration platform.
“That’s really the question here, John”, Conway said, leaving it unanswered.
Trump’s immigration policy received renewed scrutiny recently after he seemingly softened his stance on how to treat undocumented immigrants and then reaffirmed his support for deporting them. “So he obviously would work with law enforcement, immigration, the immigration agencies”, she said.
Hours before, Trump had tweeted: “Dwayne Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago”, initially misspelling the basketball player’s first name before correcting it later.
Trump’s first tweet about the shooting ended this way: “Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!” “We send our thoughts and our prayers to the family, and we also promise to fight for a much, much better tomorrow”.

Asked whether the initial tweet was presidential or appropriate, GOP officials and campaign advisers instead talked about reducing crime or said they were pleased Trump followed up with a tweet of condolence and empathy. Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a former chief of staff to Democratic President Barack Obama, has struggled in particular to contain violence in his city.
